Installation of a Call Pilot 100

I am looking at installing a Call Pilot 100 to operate with a Norstar ICS Rel 4.1 s/w. The key system was purchased through a reseller so I am unsure if it has been install before with a mail system. What steps should I take to ensure that the system will operate properly.

Assuming that you have the neccessary logs and passwords for the Call Pilot and the CICS, I would suggest you access the Call Pilot using F982, enter the appropriate password, press 1 then type REINSTALL to wipe the Call Pilot to start it fresh to interact with the CICS.

You should definitely default the ICS before you build it up. Within 15 minutes of poer up enter Feature ** STARTUP, pass = 266344. The Call-Pilot should be compatible with 4.0 and later.
