Ok, I've gotten this far on my quest for PERL on my local webserver with not too many injuries. I'm hoping this will be easier that finding it.
Simply put... How do you install IIS on windows XP...?

For windows XP, it's a personal web server for IIS option. If you are using Windows XP home you are limited to I think 3 or 5 connections. Professional is a few more but not much.

So i donwload what personal web web server? I've downloaded myserver and it works fine, but perl does not work with it for the most part. Any other suggestions?

If you want perl to work you will need to download ActivePerl Engine from activestate.com

Done that. And installed it. Yet I still cannot get it to work in Internet Explorer locally.
