After installing AD, the server becomes too slow on logging, is there something to make to let it go faster .
The server is an IBM 6000R - 4p - 2GB Mem.

The server logon itself is slow? I think thats just the nature of the beast. It takes most of all the servers I admin a while to logon the local user. If your client machines are taking forever to logon, try configuring the DNS lookup zones to point back at the IP of your server. Sped up client logons by 1000% in one instance I had. All Complaints Will Be Routed To /dev/null

I am curious, What type of IBM server is it again. R6000? What type of processor? James Collins
