Hi,

How do I install POS Configurator on a Windows XP workstation? I have it installed on an existing workstation but need to replace it. I have tried installing whatever I have on the server (RES 4.0 General Release) but can't get it working.

Any help or pointers on what I'm looking for?

Thanx,
PM

On your server go into posconfig, devices, network node.
Add a new node. Name it something (office) and assign it an ip in the same range as your other devices and with the same subnet mask.
Look for a folder called "CAL win32 software" Micros usually leaves a copy on your data harddrive. If not it should be on your install discs. Copy the file "Micros CAL client" over to your xp workstation, extract and install it.
When it runs CAL chose the workstation information you set up earlier. It will install posconfig and the other micros applications and you will now be able to run them on the worksation.

Thanks, that pointed in the right direction and I have another station with POS Config :)
