I have got a RHEL server which I installed headless, and now I have been told I need to install a gui since the users who will use this server have no ideas how to use a terminal. Is there any easy way to install the gui on a RHEL server?

Thanks in advance.

Nvmd, I was able to figure it out.

First you need to download the Desktop files from the RHN.

yum groupinstall "Desktop" "Desktop Platform"

After the installation is complete you should launch the X server to generate the config files.

startX

Once the gui comes up, you then can change the /etc/inittab level from 3 to 5.

Hope that helps
