Hi all,
I have a big problem: I lost a dbf file and now I have only the mdx index. Is it possible to inspect the mdx file and try to recover data knowing the structure of original dbf ?
Thanks for help.

I did that about 28 years ago. Someone killed a table and I used the NTX "Clipper index file" to pull the client ID's and names. Had to recreate the rest. If that is an index file, the data that maybe available will only be the fields used in the index.

Thanks Jim,
now I know that it is possible! But howto? May someone help me?
