I have An IP Office 8.1 with 9608 phones and PRI. The user has to dial an Authorization Code when making an outside call. The Authorization code is set by Telco. Some users want to forward their phones to their Cell phones. As far as I can see the users dose not have the option to insert pause on the 9608 sets. I have read in other posts about creating a short codes and entering comma for pause. I have created a short code:

1-xxx-xxx-xxxx,,,,yyyy (Y for the authorization code)
When I forward the set to the short code, the call does not get thru. And when I dial the short code the carrier will just ask to enter the Authorization code. It seems like the system does not send anything after the commas, and I have tried 1 comma, 2 commas, and so on. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
