Inserting Pause in PRI Routing Table

We have a MICS 6.1 with a PRI line installed, and with a long distance carrier that requires a four digit code at the end of a long distance number.

Prior to a memory loss of all system programming, the switch was stripping away the last four digits of the dial string (the four digit ld auth code) and inserting a pause to allow this to function properly. This was working for the fax machine that was connected to the switch on an ATA.

Does any one know how this is done?

Thanks luv2ski for the response.

The issue we are having is with an ATA extension that is hooked up to a fax, so Feature 78 is not an option, and the customer doesn't even want to press the pause key on the fax machine (which would solve this very easily). They simply want to enter 9-1-xxx-xxx-xxxx-cccc and press send (cccc is the four digit password to allow ld calls and it is different for every user).

The only solution I know of that will work is the routing tables and somehow stripping out the last four digits dialed, inserting a pause, and reinserting the last four digits dialed.

Are you saying that you had this working at one point with the same configuration?
