Inserting or Loading a text file

Hi i'm a bit of a newbe trying to load a text file in to a table. I can do it throughQueryman using INSERT INTO businessdbtemp.WARRENTIES VALUES (?). However i am prompted for the file location each time but i need to script it from excel. So my question is is their a way to pass the file name information before running the query. Or is their a better way of dooing this.

The file i am uploading is about 1200 rows and 1 col

If you are going to use VBA for loading data into teradata then set a ODBC connection and direcly load the data from the text file to the table.

If this is what you are look for then I would help (if required) in coding how to pull data out from a text file.
