i am very new to dreamweaver ultra dev and i was wondering as i am unable to discover - how to i insert buttons that i have made in flash into dreamweaver. i can do the normal buttons that come with dreamweaver but i am unable to transport ones i have made from flash.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

You need to click on "insert Flash" the floating "objects" pannel. Rather than "Insert Flash Buttons".

Flash buttons are the D/W preset butons thst allow you to change the text, etc. ----------------------------------------

I have done what you advised except now all i get is a white square on my page in 'webpage' view. any ideas why this is happening?

Thanx

Are you addin the '.swf' file???

The only time I've ever had that problem is when I acciently put the '.fla' on the page.

If you don't know flash very well, you need to publish the movie before you can add it to the page. Check to see that it's only publishing to swf if your usind DW. ----------------------------------------

I worked out what i had done wrong. it was not importing the *.swf - it was something else, i, just closed dreamweaver and re-started my computer and it worked.

now all i have to do it get rid of the white border that came from flash

thanx.
