I am trying to add a button to bring up a browse button to insert a picture into my database. I have it working with an unbound OLE object using the following code.

DoCmd.GoToControl "OLEBOUND2"
DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdInsertObject

But my users are computer rookies and it's too many steps for them to insert the picture (don't ask). Is there a way to set properties on the acCmdInsertObject command. I want it to default to open Create from File window and default to a specific directory.

Or is there an easier way to get a browse dialog box up? I was going to try an ActiveX control but I am getting a license error message when trying to add a control.

Please help.
