Inserting a BO report in another BO report

Hi,

we have created several files containing one report each. Now the customer wants all files in a single BO report file.

I tried "Insert object.." but this resulted in an error message "A business Objects document cannot be inserted in another BO document".

Would you believe it? Is there another way to do it? I do not want to recreate all the reports.

To save multiple reports as tabs in a single report:

1.Save the tab as a template (filename.ret),
Note: If you save the whole report as a template it only saves the first tab.
2.Right click on the report tab (in the new report) and select Insert Report.
3.Apply the template.

Hope this solves the problem.

You may be able to do this by creating seperate data providers and inserting the data you need from each of the data providers. This may work; if you need calculations, you'll need to have relationships for the objects needed from each of the reports in order to create one single report.
