How do I insert a record into an excisting table when i push a button on the form?
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Try FORMS_DDL(statement) if you want make insert yourself
or Commit_form if you want commit changes on form.

Create when-button-pressed trigger and place your insert statement there.
