I want to insert a signature once in an email. Normally when you have a new mail open, it is in the menu bar under INSERT > SIGNATURE, but this option (Signature) is not available in my email client.

It is Outlook 2003, connecting to a remote Outlook Exchange 2003.

Does anyone has got any clue on how to solve this problem?

Have you created the signatures first?

check to see if you are using MS Word as your e-mail editor, if it is then it will be missing, only appears if you use Outlook to edit e-mails.

You can have signatures for plain text, RTF, and HTML.

I have Outlook 2003 and have XP Pro as the OS. When I try to create a user signature, single space, it shows up double space. I have tried a detect and repair on Outlook, attemtped to create a new signature a few times and have not had any luck. Do anyone have any suggestions. Thanks.

I always create my signatures in HTML until they look just right, then manually copy the .HTM file to the signature location:

%userprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures

They always show up in the drop-down then.
