Insert not done on Win2003. It works on Win200

Dear sir/madam,

A page offers the possibility to create groups when clicked on the finish link button.

I've created a web setup project and build it and then I installed it on both the live server (win2003) as on the test server (win2000).

On the test server, when clicked on the finish button, it does the job and it does the insert perfectly.

However, on the live server, it shows the pages as it should, just like on the test environment, but it doesn't do the insert! It does not give any error, although I use try - catch and display an error when it fails.

What is the difference? It cannot be my application, can it? It works perfectly on win2000 and it's exactly the same.

Please help me... Thank you in advance.

Check the version of the framework on both servers. You may need to change the IIS server on the 2003 server to run in IIS 5 isolation mode.

Look under website properties then Services

I had this problem also and had to Run the

http://WWW service

in IIS 5.0 Isolation mode for older asp.net applications
