Hi I'm using Actuate e.Report Designer Professional 8, and I've been asked to add a column to an existing report. I have had no Actuate training.
I have modified the report sql to get the new column, but when I try to add the new field to the report, when I do Insert, the 'Database Field' option is greyed out.
In the report structure tree, I see it has a sequential section - this is the first time I've seen a report with this - I don't know if this is the problem.
If I select Content - ReportSection in the report structure tree, then right click and select Insert, the Database Field option is not greyed out, but it will not allow me to add the field to the GroupSection3:Content - Frame, which is where I need to put it.
If I click on GroupSection3:Content - Frame and do Insert, Database Field is greyed out.
How do I add my new field?
