Insert Avi into dreamweaver

hi,

I am trying to insert avi files into dreamweaver so that it can display on my webpages on local (not on the internet). These files will be burn into a Cd so that user will need to open internet explorer to view them. However i have problems when i tried the Cd on different pc (different version of IE and media player). what should i do?

I am actually trying to insert .avi files into webpages. Should i insert Media>plugin or Media>ActiveX. When I do plugin, it seem like with different version of the Mediaplayer, some of the Pc cannot view the .avi files. Realise that it might be the different version of the media player on various pc. What should i do so that all pc can view the video clips?

link your files relative to the site (folder) ....drag that folder and burn.Autoplay Start.html that will link to those files.....
