Is there an input mask that results in c:\ ? I want to force a file name that is entered in a text box by a user to be preceeded by c:\. Thus a file named test.bmp is entered by a user as such but results in c:\test.bmp.

Thank you kindly

MajP,

Here's a relatively clean copy

As you note, most of the code is cut and paste. I've spent a bunch of time studying this and I believe I have this laid out, code wise, according to your examples / demos. If you get a chance today, please review this as it still does not write to a table. I've stepped thru the code and double checked everything but am baffled.

Thanx

MajP,
I've worked thru alot of this and you answered my original question - time to move on. Seems that one solution runs into another challenge. The demos have some great code! Obviously, I'm not quite ready to quit my day job as a plumber. Just kidding. Anyway, I appreciate all of the time you spent looking at this and the great suggestions you provided.
