Hello,
Our spares dept. runs a query on missing return-parts and would like to add a comment before faxing it to the appropriate technician. Any idea how to add the comment AFTER selection of the records?
Thanks,
John

You could add a "Comment" parameter and simply display that parameter on the report layout...

hth,
- Ido CUT, Visual CUT, and DataLink Viewer:
view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

The contents of the comment is only known and depends on the results of the report. I think your suggestion requires to input the comment at the same time you enter the parameters for the report - did I get this correctly?

Thanks,
John

Ask them to run the report twice; once to get the value (and leave the Comment Parameter blank) - second time to also enter a comment...
