I am using Delphi 5 Professional.
I got a problem in chinese windows xp.
My executed program can run in chinese windows 98 but windows xp.
While I select some chinese character it cannot display but a "?".

Thanks.

Eric.

i met the same problem before
it caused by conversions between Unicode and non-unicode.
so you have to use some functions to get the proper string type to display.

Thanks Daniel Fung.

Is there any more information.

Thanks.

Eric.

The problem may caused by the Delphi components that you use does not support unicode texts. You can either change to the component that support unicode or use ANSI text.

If your text is ANSI, try switch your WinXP PC to Chinese language mode in Regional Settings.

Hope it helps!
