Input Boxes for date searches

Hi Peoples...

We're after being able to open a report, then it will prompt the user to enter in a date range then bring up the data that is between those ranges.

Its for one field, our field is called EndDate, and we'd like to search between, for eg, 7/7/03 and 7/14/03.

From the field explorer, create a parameter field and select the ranged option. If you want to set default values, then click on the 'Set Default Values' button, select the table and field from the top 2 drop-downs, and add the default values to the pick list.

After the parameter field has been created, use the field in question in the Select expert and set it to be = to the parameter field you created. Rod Oatis
