I apologize for the horrendous verbiage above but I lack the terminology to articulate this feature. Basically at one site I manage, when reaching a user's mailbox, pressing # returns you to the root of the auto attendant. At another site, this does gives a "that is an invalid entry". I've tried reviewing COS and inmail options but have not been successful. Both systems are SV9100's but one is the newer CP20 and one is not. I could easily do this with a routing mailbox but those are limited resources and I don't feel that is the right approach. Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

47-10 Dial Action, define the # as Hang Up. Make sure the dial action table number is associated with the Routing Mailbox in 47-08.

It's all about dial action tables. Be careful assigning # as hang up that it doesn't affect people trying to log into their mailboxes remotely. Mailboxes can be assigned different DAT.
