I see these in /etc/just now:

prw------- 1 root root 0 Nov 30 08:35 initpipe
prw------- 1 root root 0 Nov 30 08:35 utmppipe

Looks like the time stamp is updated everytime someone logged in? I just logged in.

are they trojan horses?

Are you the same person who logged the call about the mysterious /home/ or directory the other day? If so, then they may well be, perhaps feeding login info back to wherever. I'm afraid I (fortunately for me) have no experience of having been hacked, but others might be able to advise further.

yes, I am.
But I searched the net and could'nt find any information on those two files. What are they for?
