I created some files on Adobe Acrobat with password for opening and printing. That works fine when I open the file from Acrobat Reader. That is, if I use the password for open I cannot print or save with a different name.

When I put a link on a web page to that file and open the web page, it requests a password to open, but once opened, they can be printed or saved with a different name.

How do I inhibit printing or saving with a diffferent name when the file is opened with Internet Explorer?

Thanks,
Bueno

One of the many many security flaws of IE. Don't think there is anything you can do about it. Microsoft has never cared about security are now in a position where they have so many basic security flaws i don't think they will ever be able to make Windows truly secure.

Thanks wiser3.
I guess we cannot keep unauthorized printing.

wiser3,
It is frustrating, because I can create a PDF file that prevents a person from printing or saving with a different name. But I can right-click on it, open it with IE and it looses all its protections.
