infragistics panel problem

I have six command buttons on an infragistics panel. When I run it, each button is invisible until I click it.

I have tried the following:
- set panel bg to transparent
- rt-clicked panel and "send to back"
- rt-clicked buttons and "bring to front"
- verified all buttons are "visible"

If I move the buttons off of the panel and set them directly on the form. all is well.

I've never used an infragistics panel, but perhaps you could try putting a picture box in the panel, and then place the buttons within the picture box.
