infotree refresh prob

Has anyone who has experience of using the infotree component any ideas on how to refresh the tree and reselect the position before the refresh. I can do this on the first level but am having difficulty if it is the second third or fourth level of the tree.

The infotree gets its data from 3 querys and a relations object.

To refresh the table i close then reopen the querys.

any ideas?
