Hi Guys,

I got a problem with the application, which is running on Unix machine.
The description is I have one application, which is running fine in one server.
The same executable is not running on the different server.
The application is basically querying based on some search criteria and display the results in the report format on the screen

I mean option 1. Generate report values
Option 2. Generate report values in percentage.

Surprisingly the same application works fine in the same server with the deferent menu option (option 1).
Here the option 2 is not working .It just blanking out the screen when i choose the search criteria.
But the same search criteria working fine for the same option in deferent server.

Did any body encounter similar problem .
I would be grateful if some body help me out ASAP.

Hi Guys,

I found the solution.The server1 has some unix patch's that support the lengthy temp files where the option2 works fine.
The server2 probabully donot have the patch's that support long temp files.

The above problem should read as the length of temp file name & As well as the solution.
