I know I have posted several topics on the information store, but I guess I just can't grasp it.

Over the weekend, my IS increased from 24 GB to 31GB. Last week, mail going in and out was only about 450 MB. White space before the increase was about 1.5 GB and now it is 5 GB. What does the increase mean and why did it do it?

Thanks in advance.

I have no idea. White space is natural in an Exchange database. Increases in database size is also natural as users save emails and/or attachments.

You haven't given us any information to better judge. Has a specific user's mailbox grown excessively lately?

No they havn't. They are basically the same size before as they are now. Only by +- 50 MB at the most. I know whitespace is natural, but I dont understand why such a large increase.

sorry, 29 mailboxes. Most increase by only a few megs. I do have a few very large ones though.
