Having Exchange issues, not sure but I think a tech may have deleted Information Store mdb information. When I go into Services to try and start this process I get message : "cannot find the specified file"

Look in your antivirus quarantine and see if there was a file recently quarantined from the Exchsrvr\mdbdata directory. It's common to have the AV steal a log file from Exchange and shut it down.

Does the error say anything about a file name? What's the actual error event number?

Thanks ShackDaddy, I will do this but after getting some more information here is what happened. The drive that the ExchSrv folder is located on was running full. Tech agent ran disk clean up and in the process may have deleted critical files from that folder. Is their any way to recover those deleted files?

quikc test would be:

hopefully you have a backup of your exchange

All the best!

Much Thanks lebisol, got the problem fixed after a few hours on the phone with M$ tech support. I will still use this utility that you sent a link to.
