Information Mailbox - Problem

We are using a 3 digit extension.
Needed to change 108 to information, so I deleted the mailbox and recreated it.
An announcement has been recorded.
When I call the extension, I do not get an announcement. My display shows "Mailbox full"

Not sure what I did wrong.

For one an Information mailbox cannot be dialed internally (intercom) because its just a mailbox....not a set.

You may have another mailbox that is tied to 108 be it the EXT: or Alt Ext.

Ok, let me provide some more information:
108 was our calloff line/extension, employees would call into 108 and leave a message about their reason for calling off of work.
We have changed the procedure, so just want an announcement that says the procedure has changed but doesn't allow a message to be recorded.

Is there a way to accomplish that?

Software is MICS 4.0 XC USA
Not sure how to find type???

Once into F983 press 9 and post what you see.

Ok, the display shows: NVM 4.0.04A

Tell callers to press the * key first, then dial 108. This will transfer them directly to the info mailbox.

You could have left the mailbox as is and recorded the the ALT greeting. Once recorded; set the ALT as active and set it to not accept messages.
