Does anybody out there use MMC or Manage Exec to monitor their Info environment?
We run an Info 7.5.2 system and I have tried MMC with the info monitor snap-in for report monitoring, but find it rather unstable and there are loads of issues with it on the Crystal KB. Anybody else use it satisfactorily?
Has anyone had good experiences using Manage Exec, as I am thinking of installing this?

Cheers

Steve

Sorry Steve, the only reliable tool to monitor the Info environment (Admin functions) is via the SDK. It uses the same interface than the Info Desktop. MMC is is flaky at best and ManageExec - well, I have not used it.

Have used ManageExec with seagate info 7.0.2.2 with decent
results until it stopped working one day.

The decent results were that you could tell what had completed, failed, was waiting to run and failed seagate services. What you couldn't tell was what was reports were currently running which is the sdk's fault.

ManageExec was sold to Veritas Software at some point who
has discontinued the product and so there's no support for the product.
