Being able to ping is NOT an effective test of your DNS settings. Most people who don't understand the importance of DNS and how it is used in Active Directory think their DNS is fine when it's not. In the TCP/IP properties of ALL domain systems, ONLY the DC should be listed - NO EXTERNAL DNS SERVERS. This INCLUDES the DC itself. You can setup the server's DNS server to use other DNS servers as Forwarders, BUT NOT LISTED IN THE TCP/IP Properties.

I would STRONGLY recommend you run IPCONFIG /ALL on the server and one problem workstation and post copies of the results here. Screen shot or a copy and paste of the output.

Just FYI, I'm posting in both this site and at least one other site you have asked this question on. My questions are designed to both help AND ask questions that could lead others to help you find a solution.

As noted on the other site, your gateway should not be listed as a DNS server unless your Gateway happens to be a Windows Server acting as a router with DNS installed and acting as a secondary DNS server to your DC. That should be changed. Also, as asked in the other place, please review your event logs on both the client and the server, noting any exclamation or red "x" items.

Those who ask why, learn

air rise local has itself as a dns server, unless its a DC and you are positive that everything is totally replicated it should point to something else.
