Afternoon.

I would like to be able to use the trunk seize digit "9" to seize one trunk group, and use another digit to seize a different trunk group (for example, digit 5).
This is to allow SLT phones to be able to access the trunk groups by dialling the single digit, not so important on the MLTs.

I made the changes in the numbering plan so 9 and 5 are set to individual trunk, but can't see how to route these to the trunk groups individually. I think it clashes?
Is there a method to achieve this on the SL?

Thank you.

Not a good way to do this.
Place your trunks in trunk groups 1 and 2 14-05
In 14-06, place the trunk group you want to access in route table 01, and 02. If you want to overflow, do 1, then 2 in group 01 and 2 then 1 in group 2 EX: route table 01 : priority order 1 = trunks from trunk group 1 (2 in priority order 2 if you want to overflow). In route table 02, priority order 2 = 2 for trunk group 2
In 21-02 choose your extension and select which route table it should pull trunks from, in modes 1 - 8.
Undo what you already programmed.
Every station dials 9 but gets their trunks according to the 14-01, 14-06 and 21-02 programming.

Thank you.

This is roughly how we have it configured at the moment. Some phones dial 9 and get one trunk group, some dial 9 and get the other group. No overflow in use. Ideally, a couple phones would be able to choose the group they use.

The reason is there are two businesses using the same system, and for billing and caller ID purposes, it would be advantageous to be able to select the trunk group on two SLT cordless phones when making outside calls. On the MLTs, line appearance keys can be used.

I can’t see a three digit feature code to select a trunk group or line either, as this would be an acceptable option.

Regards.

I think the code you are looking for is 704 followed by the 2 digit group number Eg 70401 for group one. You could store these as a speed dial key on the phone (if they have any) giving you single button access. See 11-12-14

put in 21-15 in all extensions route 2. I think you will be okay.

direct trunk select code is also #9 + 00X, tunk number in 3 digits.

Thank you. I can see now that on the system, "Trunk Specified Access" in 11-12-15 was set to #0, I have changed this to #9 which aligns nicely with the 9 being the trunk seize. The code 704 on this system is 804 (11-12-14, trunk group access). The feature which was using #9 is now #0.

Thank you for that.
