This may be a stupid question and something i should know but I have no had to deal with it in years.

Are there Indicators already defined for the F-Keys or enter key or anything in RPG? I am looking at old programs and I see that there are indicators like *INKL, *INKE, *INKC, etc. and there are no definitions for these indicators but they are using *ON to flag them, so they are indicators. Are these preetermined ones from IBM? If so how can you tell which indicator represents which key?

Fooch,

Those are indead old style function key indicators. *INKA = F1, *INKB = F2, and so on.

I thought so. Thanks man, it's appreciated.

There is no *INKO, so *INKN=F14, *INKP=F15...*INKY=F24.

Feles mala! Cur cista non uteris? Stramentum novum in ea posui!

flapeyre,

Thanks! Man oh man I forgot all about that little twist. I hope Fooch sees your post before he tries too many times to use that indicator!
