Indiana-jones like animation 1

I want to know if someone could explain me how to do a flash animation of a trajectory on a map, like in the indiana jones movie...

actually I want to be able to animate the drawing of a line on a picture (in this situation, I cannot draw the line first and place a shape on it and make the shape moving)

I gusee it is going to be related with duplicate movie clip but I don't know how, maybe there are other options that I don't see

There's the Flash Drawing API (google that to find documentation about it), and probably you'll have to use the onEnterFrame event handler...
