index saving to default pool when using auto media management 1

Hello All,

I administer a networker server running v 6.0.1. I have a configuration of 3 groups saving to 3 different pools. When ever I use auto media management I discovered that networker always labels tapes to the Default Pool and saves all the client indexes to the default pool.
All other savesets are saved to there respective pools.

Hi!

If you dont use auto media mangement will index get backedup?

Check the restrictions on your pools. Index is normaly saved as a level 9 backup sp you must include this on youre pool restriction.

Thanks for the tip. The tip. I didn't included level 9 backup in my pool restrictions. The index backup runs ok now.
