We have a customer with the following index issue.

CPU size is V200 with 8.1 software.

The users have DT3 handsets. When they press the speed dial button and then INDeX the display shows ‘Not Available’.

If they press speed dial button, system and then speed dial location (100-199 or 9000-9999) the speed dial works.

If they press INDeX on the idle screen it also shows ‘Not Available’

Any old index nuts out there seen this before?

[cheers]

Under maintenance do a "release upload buffer" or in the case you're taking a download you will need to wait until the download finishes.

It could also be if you enter - or & or any non-standard character in the company name this can cause the INDeX feature to disappear. For example Newey & Eyre or BT - Sheffield.

The downside is you have to go through the INDeX to find it, internal and external.
