Any techs around got experience doing a CPU software upload via monitor?

Getting stuck at the same point, got Kermit running OK, but when I do a SEND it says unsupported file type.
I've unzipped it, and its just a CP file there.

Thanks

Dave

Do Not Unzip the firmware file.

Ok. I tried that to!

What should the destination be? Thought it was P0, but I've also seen CP, PX and CX

it depends on which version of CPU you have

The original CPU require C1,C2<C4 or C8 (and was not zipped)
CPU V requires P0
CPU x requires PX

at least that is the way I remember things, it has been a number of years since I have had to do this so could be wrong.

Its a CPU200, send CP (unzipped) to C2... and its working.

Thanks so much.

I started with phones in the Panasonic NCP, Avaya IP Office era so all this INDeX stuff is new to me!
