Hello

I am still using an old version of Indesign (v2.0).

My PC keeps freezing & I get “Virtual memory low” errors.

Any idea what’s causing this – I presume it’s a bug in v2.0.
To update this to 2.02, must I 1st install the 2.01 update?

Thanks

Under Virtual Memory

(be sure to take a note of your settings in case it doesn't work).

Change the size of your virtual memory on your hard drive that is running windows.

to something along the lines of Inital Size (MB) 2046 and Max Size (MB) 4092

See if that helps.

Thanks - will try.

I think there is a bug in that version though that is causing memory bleed because there were update patches released since then.

Why have you avoided updating with the free patches? That should have been a first step in addressing any issue.

Are the free patches still available? I couldn't find them... although I didn't look all that hard for them.

Each update details what is required to run. The 2.0.2 update indicates that you need 2.0.1 first.
