Okay, I have an issue I can't seem to solve.
I have an Indesign file that is 2 color: black and a PMS. I export the file for transfer to an imagesetter as a PDF using the Press setting.
Since there is bleed on the cover, I have to set the registration marks during the PDF process.
When the file is RIPPED, the color in the file is separated correctly, but the registration and crop marks are separating as CMYK. So I end up with 3 additional plates that I don't need.
The imagsetter I have will not let me print just the black and PMS plate, so I have to figure out how to rectify the problem during the PDF process.
Any solutions or suggestions?!?!?!
Anything would be greatly appreciated!!
THANKS!!
