INdesign cs "failed to import"

Hi Folks.
Having major problems trying to open files i created myself! Ive searched and searched but found nothing on this. files seem to open fine on other machines but not mine. tried re-installing multiple times even the entire cs
Any ideas? it would be much appreciated

Is 'failed to import' the entire error message?

What version of CS are you using? Do you have it patched to the April 2005 3.0.1 update?

hi, did you manage to fix your problem with indesign not importing files? i have the same issue.
