have any of you heard of an email program called incredimail? it works basically like outlook; but has little extras like a 'notifier' that pops up to tell you you have email instead of the box... anyway; i have been using it for months; but am noticing now that, when i have a lot of emails to go through and decide to go through them before dialing in (dont laugh - its my only option at home); after about 30 seconds or so the program freezes up and causes an illegal error. since i cant figure out how to fix it, and there help section is not very helpful, i have decided to go back to outlook. the problem is incredimail apparently uses a different file type than regular email programs and i cant seem to find a way to transfer my emails.

i am perfectly happy with the incredimail with the exception that it doesnt want to work offline; but now it is seeming that there is no other choice since i can't move anything over to outlook...

i thought i would check here before giving up total hope...
thanks :) ShannonLea

It looks like you will have to completely uninstall the software that Incredimail uses. It hass its own dialer and inbox programs. It is one or the other.

You may have to reinstall you ISP's software or if you look in dialup networking the icon for your ISP should be there. Create a shortcut on your desktop.

Start Outlook and Click on OUTLOOK|ACOUNTS... the click on ADD|MAIL This start the Internet Connection Wizard.

If you get this far you should be home free. If you have trouble call your ISP's tech support. They usually are very helpful. They don't wan't to lose you as a customer.

Good Luck

David

99% of my email comes through hotmail... my ISP is AOL at the moment and since they have their own mailbox i dont know that they would be all that willing to help, but i can still ask...
