Increase Voicemail Ports, Maybe More?

I've got a BCM 400 4.0 and I need to increase the number of voicemail ports (currently have 6 max, 5 for voicemail and 1 for Contact Center.)

I've looked in Element Manager and I see where I can increase the number of ports. I also looked in the manual and found references to increasing signaling channels, media
channels, voice bus paths, and DSP resource units.

If I only want to increase my voicemail ports, do I have to increase those other things as well?

The answer depends on the system. If you are using IP sets, then you need to take into account how many IP sets you are licensed for before attempting to increase the VM ports. If you are using digital sets, just increase and reboot.
