Hi guys! I'm stuck with this problem with Win 2K server. I just installed a Win 2k server (Only server on the network). I created a batch file that will run on all workstations upon startup i.e: net use \\mserver /set /yes.
But the workstations cannot get the correct time from the server even when i run this command from the command line.
I checked Microsoft for some suggestions. I tried using the /setsntp option but this doesn't help. When I login from a workstation or even from the server, the following are being displayed:

Current time at \\MSERVER is 5/28/04 8:37 AM
Local time (GMT-07-00) at \\MSERVER is 5/27/2004 3:37 PM
The command comleted successfully.

There's discrepancy there.. Any idea how to fix this? Your immediate help will be highly appreciated.

i got a typographic error on the command i use: it should be net time \\mserver /set /yes. anyway, i'm still waiting for any quick fix on my problem. thanks in advance.

Ok, is your DC configured as an authoratative time server? If not, check this article, I used it for mine and it worked fine. Lemme know if this works for you!

I tried that option before but it didn't work. I used different time servers to sych with but it's kind of weird co'z the GMT and local time has 12 hrs. difference. My DC is configured to be an authoritative server.
