incorrect reporting

Greetings all,

Has anyone seen this issue. We have +/- 4500 workstations on our domain, Mcafee EPO reports on +/- 3300 workstations as being correctly managed. We use Security Expressions to report on non compliant workstations and it only shows +/- 100 as not having AV installed. So my question is, why does EPo not report on the remaining +/- 1000 workstations.

Some info are missing here:
- Epo versions
- are all the machines in your repository ?
- do the machines in the repo have all the agent installed ?

- Epo versions - epo server 3.6.1 patch 1 and agents 3.6.0.546
- are all the machines in your repository - not sure, will compare results from both scans
- do the machines in the repo have all the agent installed - all machines that are reporing have the latest agent.

Do you have access tto the SQL backend of EPO?

"SELECT * FROM LEAFNODE" will tell you how many machine EPO knows.

Also, on the machine "missing" from EPO, try to connect to the HTTP interface of the agent (

http://Client_ip:8081),

you should see whether or the agents connect to the EPO server.
