Does anyone have any experience with the Consolidated OE view not having accurate information. I have started at a new company this week and we have to run the Load OE View Master File two to three times a week. I have seen this occur before but on a smaller scale. We have discussed this with Exact but they do not know what to do. One tidbit of info is that the users in customer service create a customer number instead of using F5. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas.

Yes. If you have mismatched header & line records. Use MS access to run mismatch query & delete the headers with no lines & vice versa. Rebuild, then reload oe view. If there is still a problem, you may have gotten duplicate records since the users aren't using f5. Then you have to look for duplicates.

Are you using any 3rd party application to import orders? If so this is likely the culprit.

Do you mean they create an order number instead of using F5?

Thank you for the responses.

We are not using any third party products.

We are using EDI which is of course automatically assigning order numbers.

Manual orders are being generated with a manually created order number not F5.

We have become quite adept at cleaning the file but have yet to identify the specific culprit.

Thank you.

You can use MS access to find the duplicates, too. Also, are you examining the oeordhdr, oeordlin, oehdrhst, oelinhst. There may also be a problem in the comment files. Pre-7.6, the oelincmt file didn't purge itself when orders posted to history.
