Inconsistence Advanced Search Hits in Livelink 9.7.1

Hi... I have an issue that I dont have a good answer for it. I created an advanced search below and the number of return hits are different everytime like 280, 354, 401, 297, why?

Addvanced Search
Under Full Text I entered complex query below:
[qlregion "OTDCategory" ] "286779" AND [qlregion "Attr_286779_4"] != * AND [qlregion "Attr_286779_2"] =*

Under System Attributes I added, Object Type is Folders, Modification Date is date range from a period Jan 16/08 to July 1/08

if the issue is as you say it is you should ask Ot about it,to arm yourself with proof you should thru a sql query find the same info.It is not that difficult,if a sql databse query gives you the same result then you should investigate.One thing I can say is since your advanced search involves dates of modification and actegory that is involved mod date is very much prone to changes depending on how you configured.Perhaps a permission change,cat cahnge etc trigers mod date things so if they go thru the indexer it is actually valid for that.That is the reason why I think you should seek OT help.Also I assume you are always testing this as the same user and you do not have system admin access.

Thank you Appnair. You brought up a good point as to using Admin and User accounts to test it - I did and I should have mentioned in my previous message. The issue appears to be with a regular user account - I used Admin account to test it then it is OK. User is the one who wants to get the consistence return hits. I will seek OT help as well. Thanks for the tips.
