Incomplete data return from Crystal 6.0, on Windows 98, using Nortel VPN Extranet Access Client V03_70.30 to an Oracle database 8.1.5
When running a Crystal report 6.0.5.135 over the Nortel VPN, I experience incomplete data return to the report. It pulls in the correct record count, an id field, but not the dollars values. When running the same report directly thru network, the report runs complete with $ values.
Wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I realize that these versions of software are somewhat old but it is what the client has. Any thoughts on this?

I had the same problem as Jazz1963, where $ values were truncating and showed up in the report as $0.00. I simply verified the database, while in Crystal 6.0 as synapsevampire recommended. The message responded that the database is now updated. I refreshed the data and the $ amounts populated. I saved the report and the next time I ran the report all data populated. Now, how the problem started, I think it still relates to the VPN. Could there be a problem with how the VPN returns data to the report, where Crystal gets confused? If anyone has an idea please share.
