Bit of an odd one today.
I have a customer with an IP Office configured for 8 POTS lines and 16 digital extensions.
Incoming call route for each line is simple: hits group 300 MAIN during the day, NIGHT AA at night, and HOLIDAY AA on holidays.
A few months back, this customer asked us to remove x204 and x207 from 300 MAIN. We did this and heard nothing of it.
Today the customer reports that x204 and x207 are still ringing with the MAIN hunt group. I checked system programming and neither of these 2 extensions are a member of 300 MAIN. I confirmed with test calls using System Status that my calls to their various numbers are in fact hitting 300 MAIN.
Here is what I have tried so far....
Deleted 300 MAIN, recreated from scratch with the same name and number. I updated incoming call routes to ring to this new MAIN group, and my test calls ring endlessly.
I recreated the incoming call routes and calls start ringing in normally again. With my new 300 MAIN hunt group, incoming calls are hitting 300 but still ringing x204 and x207, despite their removal from this group.
Next I created a new hunt group named MAIN HG x305 and configured it to be identical in setup to 300 MAIN. I set my incoming call routes to this new 305 MAIN HG, confirm that my test calls are hitting this group in System Status, and STILL see x204 and x207 ringing.
I have also rebooted the system and confirmed my programming changes are still in place. Following the reboot test calls to any of their numbers ring x204 and x207 that should not be ringing. I have had the user of x207 reboot his phone as well.
If anyone can point me in a direction I may have overlooked, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
