Incoming phone number display

We have a MICs 4.0 system and recently switched to PRI. It no longer displays the number of the incoming caller. When I hit feature 811 it displays the number that was dialed to reach me, not the outside number calling me. Any ideas on how to get it to display the outside line?

In 4.0 in line programming CLID set. Do you get CLID after you answer the call?

No - when I pick up the phone it displays the phone number associated with the phone being called, not the outside callers number.

To get clid on all ringing sets, you'll need to upgrade to 6.1. 4.0 will display on the clid set assigned to the line under line programming. Do you mean it says trans>221, or something?

If it is transferred it says something like trans>221. If someone calls my line directly the display doesn't change - it shows the date and time. If I hit feature 811 it shows my phone number.

ClID will only display before the call is answered on a line that is programmed to ring directly on an extension, regardless of sw release. For clid to display on your private line, make sure clid set under lines is programmed for your extension, not 221 (default).

This may be a bit of a newbie question because I am not fimilar with what is getting passed with clid and what information can be extrapolated from the call without clid. Do I have to have clid enabled to just have the number displayed with PRI? I am not concerned with the party's name or any other info that is passed with clid.

Something was set up incorrectly at the service provider. It now works as expected.
